Phil started his career with the firm as a staff accountant in 1980 and went on to earn his CPA license in 1982. Prior to working with the firm, Phil was working on his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, which he earned from C.W. Post's School of Business Administration in May of 1974.

With over 33 years of professional experience, Phil has gained extensive experience in income tax planning for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses and multigenerational succession planning. Phil also can help his clients achieve their long-term goals and provide safety nets for their families because he holds his New York State licenses for health and life insurance.

Phil is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the Connecticut State Board of Accountancy (CSBA).

He is an active member of the Vestry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in East Hampton.

Phil grew up in Brentwood, Long Island, and currently resides in East Hampton with his wife, Diane. Phil has three grown children: two daughters, Colette and Liana, and a son, Philip.

Bob White

Bob White started his career in 1984 as the assistant to the controller for Inter-county Appliance Co-Op located in Syosset, Long Island after graduating from New York State Institute of Technology located in Westbury, Long Island with a Bachelor of Sciences in Accounting. After which he became the controller at his family business White Merchandising Corp prior to joining the firm as a staff accountant in 1986.

Bob has always been intrigued by taxes and accounting which has ultimately led him to pursue his education and a career as a Certified Public Accountant and as a personal financial advisor. Bob acknowledges that starting his career with a small firm awarded him the opportunity to become well-rounded experiencing all aspects of accounting work. Through the years Bob has garnered extensive experience in income tax planning for high-net worth individuals, closely held businesses, multi-generational business succession planning, gift and estate tax planning, and in real estate transactions. Bob holds his securities Series 7 and 66 along with his New York State licenses for health and life insurance.

Bob has been a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) since the beginning of his career. Currently, he is a member of the Tax Section and Personal Financial Planning Section of the AICPA where he holds a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designation granted by the organization. The PFS credential was established for CPAs who specialize in Personal Financial Planning and is awarded exclusively to AICPA members who have demonstrated considerable experience and expertise in that area. Through his affiliation with the NYSSCPA Bob has served as a member of their General Taxation Committee and he was a discussion leader at seminar events. Bob is a member and past president of the Lions Club, and is a former board member, treasurer and finance committee chair of the Eleanor Whitmore Early Childhood Center.

Bob grew up in Port Jefferson Station, Long Island and currently resides in East Hampton with his wife Barbara, his daughter Caitlin and his son Jesse.

John started his career with the firm as a staff accountant in 1989 after graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. 

John has spent his entire career in the Hamptons working with many of the local businesses and families. This has given him a unique perspective of the east end. He has extensive experience in income tax planning for individuals and closely held businesses, and he provides tax consulting services in the areas of estate and charitable contributions and business valuations.

John is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), where he holds the AICPA certification ABV (Accredited in Business Valuation). This certification qualifies him to be the partner in charge of the firm's valuation division. John is also certified in business valuation services through the AICPA, and he is a member of the Institute of Business Valuations. John is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the National Conference of CPA Practitioners. He holds his Series 66 and Series 7 securities licenses and has his New York State licenses for health and life insurance. John is active in community organizations and currently serves on the board for Peconic Land Trust. He was a former board member of Hamptons State Bank and is a member of the Southampton Rotary.

John was raised in Rocky Point, Long Island, and currently resides in Southampton with his wife, Liza, and son, Conor.

Thomas Terry

Thomas P. Terry started his career in 1991 as a Staff Accountant at Fonar Corporation in Melville, Long Island after graduating from Lycoming College in Williamsport, PA with a BA in Accounting and Economics and a minor in Finance. He joined the firm in 1993, obtained his CPA in 1996 and rose to partner by 2003.

Tom's area of expertise at the firm is in Estate and Trust Planning and Administration. Tom educates his clients on the steps they need to take to fulfill their fiduciary duties allowing them to get through the difficult time the passing of a loved one can present.

With Tom's guidance, his business clients are able to take a step outside of their day-to-day operations and look at their businesses from a different perspective enabling them to promote future growth and success. Tom's proficiency in problem solving has helped many of his clients find solutions to their complex financial challenges.

Tom is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). He holds his Series 7, 24, 51 and 66 securities licenses along with his New York State license for Health and Life Insurance. He is a member of the Large & Medium Sized Firm Practice Management Committee and a Boomer Technology Circle Member. Tom is active in community organizations where he is a current member and past president of Westhampton Rotary as well as a member of the Westhampton United Methodist Church.

Tom currently resides in East Quogue with his wife Carolyn, his sons Matthew and Kyle, and daughter Rachael.

Joe Mammina

Joe joined the firm in 2001 after gaining extensive experience working at Kaufman Greenhut Liebowitz & Forman, LLP from 1991 to 1995. He then joined Mahoney Cohen, LLP from 1995 to 1996, then to Cullen & Danowski, LLP from 1996 to 2001. He is an honors graduate of St. Joseph’s College in Patchogue, New York, where he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.

Joe started his career at an early age working for his family’s business, where he was put in charge of the company’s bookkeeping. He soon realized he wanted to do more high-level work where he could help others with their financial needs. This led him to pursue his education and career in accounting.

With over 20 years of professional experience, Joe established his practice at the firm by providing income tax planning for closely held businesses and their owners, and tax-consulting services in the areas of business mergers and acquisitions/dispositions and real estate transactions. He also created a niche in nonprofit and government accounting and auditing, especially “yellow book” audits and consultation with rules and regulations for governmental entities. As one of the firm’s audit partners, Joe is also responsible for helping to maintain the firm’s quality control policies and procedures.

Joe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA), the New York State Association of School Business Officials (NYSASBO) and the Government Finance Officers’ Association (GFOA). He serves on the board of directors at the Southampton Business Alliance, and he is active in his community serving on the finance committee at St. Louis De Montfort Roman Catholic Church, where he is an usher and a Eucharistic Minister. Joe is also an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop 204, and he raises money for the Leukemia Lymphoma Society by running in the Walt Disney World Marathon each year.  

Joe was raised in Miller Place, Long Island, and currently resides in Wading River with his wife, Jennifer, and two sons, Anthony and Nicholas.
